Geology Comments

Aug 20, 2008 (A Wilson) - The occurrence lies within the mafic metavolcanic rocks of the Kamiskotia Volcanic Complex. The Kamiskotia Volcanic Complex overlies and is intruded by the Kamiskotia Gabbroic Complex. The KVC has been dated at 2701± 1.4 to 2698± 1.3 Ma.

Lithology Comments

Aug 20, 2008 (A Wilson) - Diamond drilling intersected a sequence of diabase, felsic metavolcanics and intermediate metavolcanics. Sulphides are found as disseminated and massive bands throughout the metavolcanic rocks. Narrow quartz veins are found within the tuffs. The drill hole continues in intermediate metavolcanics to EOH. Olivine diabase intrudes the sequence at 962 feet.
