Location Method: Field Visit with GPS
Access Description: Travel east from Highways 37 and 7 to quarry entrance on south side of highway 7.
2003: Jim Byer completed the construction of an access road, removal of vegetation and stripping of overburden in preparation for MTO testing for high specification aggregate. 2003 and 2004: Danford Granite Ltd. removed a bulk sample, 3,266 metric tons were drilled, blasted and removed for testing. The properties in Hungerford Township were staked by J. Byer in 2009 and transferred to Danford Granite Ltd. in 2011. 2011: bedrock sampling and geochemical analysis. 2012: 6 diamond drill-holes totaling 275.25m (including 2 holes in the already operating quarry in Elzevir Township.
