Exploration History

pre1998: property held by Nufort Resources Inc. In the 1980s Moneta Porcupine Mines Inc. acquired the property through option agreements. 1998: Propertiies became Moneta Porcupine Mines Inc. 2001-2004: Joint venture agreement with Acrex Ventures Ltd. with diamond drilling on the Southwest Zone, 55 zone and western zones. 2005: The JV completed 6 holes totlaing 2142 m on the 55 zone. 2006: The JV completed 5 holes toaling 1117 m on the Dyment 3 option. DDH MA-06-33 intersected 3 zones with assays up to 7.51 g/t over 0.50 m. 2007: The JV completed a 5 hole 1426 diamond drilling program ont he Dyment 3. 5 holes with assays in excess of 1 g/t gold. Best assay in hole MA-07-35X of 5.04 g/t Au over 0.40 m.
