Exploration History

1991: Independence Mining diamond drilled - DDH MI-91-148 intersected 1.24 g/t gold over 15.3 m in Timiskaming sediemntary rocks. A lower zone assayed 2.24 g/t gold over 2.0 m (KL-5421) 2001: Moneta Porcupine Mines Inc. completed a 174 m diamond drill hole.Two zones in syenite dikes were intersected with the best assay of 2370 ppb Au over 0.75 m (Landing Zone). 2003: Moneta Porcupine diamond drilled 2 holes totaling 601 m on the Independence zone, to the south of the Landing zone. DDH M-03-236 intersected 0.99 g/t Au over 4.4 m, 0.96 g/t Au over 3.1 m and 1.29 g/t Au over 0.5 m. DDH M-03-237 intersected 1.20 g/t Ag over 0.15 m.
