Feb 04, 2009 (A Wilson) - The deposit is hosted within the Rutter Pluton. The rocks are mapped as pink to grey and minor green, gneissic monzonite rocks with local sodic syenite and quartz syenite phases. The quarry produces landscaping stone, flagstone and veneer.
