Lithology

Lithology Data
Rock Type Rank Composition Texture Relationship
Mafic lava flow-unsubdivided 1 Basalt Host
Felsic lava flow-unsubdivided 2 Footwall

Lithology Comments

Mar 31, 2009 (A Wilson) - The drill hole intersected a sequence of felsic to intermediate metavolcanics. The descriptions suggest that they are tuffaceous to brecciated in appearance with interbeds of massive mafic metavolcanics. Narrow quartz veins and narrow zones of silicification were observed throughout the drill hole.

Mineralization Comments

Dec 03, 2018 (A Wilson) - A 1 m section of core returned 5040 ppm Zn, 230 ppm Pb and 352 ppm Cu. The anomalous values were recovered from the contact between mafic and felsic metavolcanics (T-3381).
