Mineralization Comments

Apr 17, 2009 (D Draper) - Drillhole SA-06-02, bearing NE intersected three zinc-bearing zones within basalt: a fault zone which assayed 6704ppm Zn over 0.7m; a 2.8m wide sulphide zone which returned an average of 9524ppm Zn, including 1m of 1.51% Zn; and a lower 1.1m wide sulphide zone which assayed 5588ppm Zn. Hole SA-06-04, collared 140m NE of -02 on the same gridline and bearing SW, intersected a sulphide zone within basaltic tuff which averaged 3062ppm Zn over 8.1m, including 5193ppm Zn over 0.7m. This zone also returned an assay of 804ppb Au over 1m. Hole SA-06-05, collared 200m east of -02, intersected both felsic and mafic tuffs mineralized with py, po and cpy, but lacking sp. Significant assays included: 2762ppm Cu over 1.5m; 3473ppm Cu and 766ppb Au over 0.3m; and 4237ppm Cu, 469ppb Au over 0.1m. Hole SA-07-01, collared 50m grid-north of SA-06-04, intersected interbedded felsic and silicified mafic tuffs. Best assays included 1.17% Zn, 8950ppm Zn over 1m samples; 2153ppb Au over 0.1m; and 1290ppm Cu over 0.7m.
