Access Description: Access to the property is gained via a good all weather logging road west off of highway 144 on the Sultan Industrial Road for 56 km then north on the Dore Road for 16 km to the Heenan Road. This road leads northeasterly to access the claim.



Exploration History

1980: Falconbridge Nickel Mines Ltd. carried out ground geophysics (T-2345). 1995-1996: A. MacDonnell and R. Lashbrook completed ground geophysics, mapping, and sampling (T-3761). 2005-2006: VenCan Gold Corporation carried out ground and airborne geophysical surveys (T-5328, T-5418).

Lithology Comments

Jun 29, 2009 (D Draper) - The zone of mineralization was located at 4+80E, 0+15S on the property grid, along the edge of the outcrop and a low wet area and consists of 10% disseminated pyrite in a carbonate altered ultramafic volcanic [geology map indicates mafic volcanic-ed.]. The rock is a light greenish colour and weathers a dark brown. Quartz veinlets to 5 mm crisscross the zone. The zone's probable strike is in a 305 degree direction. (T-3761)
