Access Description: Access to the property is gained via a good all weather logging road west off of highway 144 on the Sultan Industrial Road for 56 km then north on the Dore Road for 16 km to the Heenan Road. This road leads northeasterly to access the claim.



Exploration History

1980: Falconbridge Nickel Mines Ltd. carried out ground geophysics and assaying (T-2345). 1995-1996: A. MacDonnell and R. Lashbrook completed ground geophysics, mapping, and sampling (T-3761). 2005-2006: VenCan Gold Corporation carried out ground and airborne geophysical surveys (T-5328, T-5418).

Lithology Comments

Jun 29, 2009 (D Draper) - Occurrence consists of a quartz-carbonate vein up to 6cm thick within a shear zone of undetermined width. Shear zone has a strike of az. 275 degrees. Local host rock is not described in the report, but outrcrops in the vicinity are mapped as mafic volcanics. (T-3761)

Mineralization Comments

Jun 29, 2009 (D Draper) - Pyrite mineralization is ~40% for 2 cm along the vein plus massive pyrite veins to l cm within the vein. The shearing carries disseminated pyrite of 1-2%. A grab sample consisting of the vein and sheared material assayed 4778 ppb Au (0.14 oz/ton). (T-3761)
