1946: Fummerton Mineral Development Co. carried out a ground magnetic survey (T-2106). 1965-66: W. G. Wahl completed a ground magnetic survey and mapping (T-2311). 1975: U. S. Steel International / W.G. Wahl (Claim Lake Grid) carried out ground geophysics, mapping, rock and soil geochemical survey (T-2311). 1980-1985: Falconbridge Nickel Mines Ltd. completed ground geophysics, stripping, mapping, lithogeochemistry, humus geochemistry, and trenching (T-2105, T-2345). 1987-1988: Ressources Halex Inc. (Falconbridge Option) completed a geophysical survey (T-3313). 1998: Archibald, G.M. carried out prospecting, mapping, and sampling (T-4375). 1998: A. Macdonnell completed stripping, and re-assaying of original trench (T-4260). 2005-2006: VenCan Gold Corporation carried out ground and airborne geophysical surveys (T-5112, T-5328, T-5418).

Jul 10, 2009 (D Draper) - Highest gold values from drillhole were associated with a 30-foot silica-flooded and quartz-veined alteration zone crossing the contact between feldspar porphyry and banded iron formation.

Jul 10, 2009 (D Draper) - Hole 668-15-85 returned Au values as follows: 146.5' - 158' (alteration zone at base of feldspar porphyry) averaged 1733 ppb over 11.5ft; 158' - 167' (alteration zone at top of iron formation) averaged 983 ppb over 9ft. Falconbridge's Trench L236E was dug 60m northwest of the hole collar. Samples from the south end of the trench assayed 2100 and 2000 ppb Au. (Notation on Compilation Sheet 1 indicates a surface sample in this vicinity assayed 2800ppb Au; no other information on this sample was filed.) (T-2345) MacDonnell's later sampling of this trench returned an assay of 753ppb averaged over 12ft. (T-4260)
