Lithology Comments

Dec 15, 2010 (A Wilson) - The prospect is comprised of a mafic intrusion hosting magnetite-rich ferrogabbro which has noteworthy values of V-Ti-Fe. The prospect is composed of a medium- to coarse-grained ferrogabbro which is texturally homogeneous but contains magnetite-rich sections. Despite an observed variability in leucocratic to melanocratic phases, the intrusion is in large part monolithic.

Mineralization Comments

Aug 01, 2014 (A Wilson) - A 178.03 m section of NOT-09-2G21 returned 0.36% V2O5, 2.77% TiO2 and 24.72% Fe3O2. This interval lies between 132.55 and 310.58 m. The B Zone lies between 397.20 and 496.84 m and returned 0.36% V2O5, 2.66% TiO2 and 23.58% Fe3O2. The magnetite is disseminated to semi-massive. The drill holes span a strike length of 900 m. Vanadium grades typically range from 0.30% to more than 0.60% (V2O5) and titanium grades typically range from 2.5% to more than 4.5% (TiO2). Two additional holes were drilled on the extremities of the Thunderbird magnetic anomaly. These holes contained similar iron grades to the main Thunderbird mineralized zones, but contained higher titanium grades and lower vanadium grades than typically seen.
