Lithology Comments

Oct 07, 2009 (A Wilson) - Both chrome diopside and pyrope garnet were observed within the kimberlite. Below 92.05 m, the kimberlite changes colour to a light grey colour and it contained very little olivine. Above 92.05 m, the kimberlite is dark green in colour and contains mantle xenoliths. The kimberlite appears to have an oval shape along the south east axis with a diameter of approximately 20 m along the northeast axis and at least 40 m along the south east axis.
