Exploration History

In 1953 Jalore Mining Company conducted contouring, and air mag. In 1963 Algoma Central Railway completed a multi-report consisting of Air and ground mag and EM. In 1983 Mid-Nroth Engineering, Giroux, E., Giroux, R, Falstrom, J., Charpentier, R., and Bush Pilot Corp Inc. completed an air mag and EM survey. In 1989 Goldfields Canadian Mining Ltd. completed a resistivity, EM, Mag and VLF survey. In 1988 Loydex Resources Ltd. compoeted a prospecting report.

Geology Comments

Jun 11, 2010 (A Pace) - The area is underlain by mafic metavolcanics with miner felsic metavolcanics and interbedded metasedients. Iron Formation has also been identified as part of the metaasediementary sequence.




Mineralization Comments

Jun 11, 2010 (A Pace) - The mineralization is hosted within the mafic metavolcanics and consists of pyrite, pyrrhotite, chalcopyrite along with graphitic sections assocatied with a series of carbonate zones. The gold mineralization has been documented to be hosted within the banded magnetite iron fromation. Grab sample assayed by Loydex Resources Inc.associated with the banded magnetite Iron Formation is 0.058 oz/ton Gold
