Lithology Comments

Mar 12, 2013 (A Wilson) - The gold at this location occurs within a west-trending, 1-2m wide silicified (quartz) shear zone. A broad west to northwest striking deformation zone, the Brazeau Lake Deformation Zone (BLDZ) transects the area. The BLDZ is coincident with similarly trending trains of electromagnetic conductors that should be investigated for potentially economic gold mineralization in the Bartman Lake area.

Mineralization Comments

Jun 21, 2010 (N Bennett) - Sample taken from an old trench 120m west of Bartman Lake. The sample assayed 9.3 g/t gold with geochemically anomalous PGE, Cu, and Ni. Sample contained 70-75% Arsenopyrite and quartz fragments. The gold at this location occurs within a west-trending, 1-2m wide silicified (quartz) shear zone. A broad west to northwest striking deformation zone, the Brazeau Lake Defomration Zone (BLDZ) transects the area. The BLDZ is coincident with similarly trending trains of electromagnetic conductors that should be investigated for potentially economic gold mineraliztion in the Bartman Lake area.
