In 1987-88 Duration Mines and Locater Explortion Ltd. explored multiple narrow Au-Cu showings found by prospectors. A total of 15 diamond drill holes were drilled totaling 1766m. In 1998 Aurogin Resources conducted a diamond drill program surrounding the STP occurrences with one hole drilled within the occurrence.

Oct 21, 2010 (A Pace) - Duration Mines and Locater Exploration Ltd., completed 15 diamond drill holes in 1988. Hole number 875-88-3 interesected 3.06% copper, 43 g/t silver, and 1.6g/t gold over 6.53m. Sampling also confirmed the copper mineralization with vlues up to 1.89% copper. In 1998 Aurogin Resources conducted a diamond drill program in the surroundin area with 1 hole being drilled around the STP occurrence. Copper values were interesected in hole AR97-07 that included: 0.43% Cu over 1.30m 0.15% Cu over .25m 0.99% Cu over .49m 0.21% Cu over 0.49m 0.765 Cu over 0.53m The breccia illustrates disseminated pyrite and chalcpyrite. A significant amount of silicification is taken place within the surrounding mafic metavolcanics. The silicification is followoing many of the fracture patterns that have been observed. A sulphide zone has been identified within a shear zone striking northerly hosted within the mafic metavolcanics.

Notes: Staff of the Sault STe. Marie RGP office conducted a property visit to the STP occurrence. The breccia was observed and consisted of a silicified mattrix with clasts that are angular and vary in size. The clasts are composed of mafic metavolcanics and clasts that are gabbroic in composition. The areas surrounding the breccias particluarly within the metavolcanics evidence of intense silicification and shearing has taken place. Various fracture patterns have also been identified. A sulphide zone has been identified hosted within a shear zone and striking in a northerly direction.
