Point Location Description: Precise: locn of drillhole collar per log UTM coords

Location Method: Based on Assessment

Access Description: Hurdman township is located approximately 120 kilometers north of the city of Timmins, in northeastern Ontario. It is accessible by travelling westward along Trans Canada Highway no. 11 from Smooth Rock Falls for a distance of 12 km then northward along a winter logging road for an additional 28 km. The first 20 km of the logging road would be useable year round by ATV but the last 8 km are strictly winter road, although skidder access should be possible in the summer. The All Terrain Vehicle (ATV) trail trends north and east into the central part of the township to access the main Hurdman zinc prospect and then turns north to access the area of drilling to the north.

Geology

Province: Superior

Subprovince: Quetico

Geological Age: Neoarchean

Geology Comments

Jan 19, 2011 (D Draper) - The property is located at the eastern end of the structurally complex boundary between the Wawa subprovince and the metasedimentary-migmatitic Quetico subprovince. The area is also at the junction of the Kapuskasing NNE trending structural zone. Quetico metasedimentary rocks are migmatitic and have granulite facies assemblages. The available information for Hurdman Township indicates that much of the area is underlain by gneisses of sedimentary or volcanic-tuffaceous origin. Geological interpretation is hampered by the high degree of regional metamorphism, which has obliterated all primary structures. (From T-5895, pp. 12-13)

Mineralization Comments

Jan 19, 2011 (D Draper) - Hole ELO-H-08-05 returned Zn values of 0.50% over 0.34m and 1.82% over 0.81m across a contact between units of breccia and Q-F-B gneiss. A zone of semi-massive sulphides below the gneiss assayed 1.43 gpt Au over 1.08m. A lower contact between pegmatite and a felsic dyke returned 2800 ppm Pb. (T-5895)
