Feb 17, 2011 (A Wilson) - A very thin intersection of kimberlite was obtained in the drill hole. The hypabyssal kimberlite contained an unusually low abundance of olivine (10-15%), most of which occur as the fine-grained olivine phenocrysts. The scarcity of olivine and the lack of kimberlitic indicator minerals in the drill core indicate a low petrographic interest rating for this body. An 8.46 m section of kimberlite was intersected between overburden and limestone.
