Mar 04, 2011 (A Wilson) - Gneissic, pink to greenish metaluminous monzogranite with augen structures and relict igneous textures. The property consists of a large outcrop straddling the southern parts of lot 10 and 11 Concession 1 in Christie Township. The intrusive displays stretched and recrystallized rapakivi textures. Vertical joints average 5 m in separation and sub-horizontal joints exceed 2 m in separation. Small slabs of rock taken from this site by MNDMF in 1993-94 took an excellent polish.
