1984-1985: Noranda Exploration Company Ltd. carried out humus sampling, geological mapping, magnetic and electromagnetic surveys, diamond drilling. 1991: M. Tremblay and K. McDonough completed stripping and prospecting. 1992: Norwin Geological Services completed geological mapping and sampling. 1993-1994: K. McDonough and B. McDonough carried out geological mapping, a ground geophysical survey (VLFEM, magnetometer), trenching, cutting, prospecting, assaying and analyses. 2009: M.A. Tremblay and J. Robert completed trenching, geological mapping, and sampling.

Apr 30, 2020 (Sheree Hinz) - Mafic volcanics were found in the trenches. The showing is abruptly cut-off to the east by a diabase dyke. Numerous quartz-feldspar porphyry dykes/sills were noted in the trench. The alteration mineralization is chlorite, pervasive silicification, local quartz-pyrite stringers, carbonatization (ankerite) and epidotization.

Apr 30, 2020 (Sheree Hinz) - Pyrite mineralization both as disseminations up to 15% and as stringers up to 20% at the showing. Samples taken from a trench in 2009 by M.A. Tremblay and J. Robert gave returns of 0.256 oz/ton Au, 7.876 oz/ton Ag.

Mar 22, 2011 (B Atkinson) - Major element analyses indicate the rock is strongly carbonate altered, silica depleted and elevated in iron. Loss on ignition value is 23.61%. Alteration is intense, pervasive and appears to be structurally controlled.
