Access Description: The property is located approximately 70 km from the town of Marathon and can be accessed by a network of logging roads.



Exploration History

2006: R. Wahl collected a bulk sample. 2006-7: R. Whal and Ressources Dianor conducted till sampling and a ground magnetics geophysical survey. 2014-15: R. Wahl conducted prospecting and geological mapping.

Mineralization Comments

Jan 22, 2018 (Therese Pettigrew) - A 1,205.80 kg sample of lamprophyre dyke was collected and sent for diamond recovery. A total of 66 microdiamonds were recovered from the sample: 1 - 0.150 mm, 3 - 0.212 mm, 1 - 0.300 mm, 40 - 0.425 mm, 13 - 0.600 mm, 7 - 0.85o mm, and 1 - 1.180 mm in size, with a total weight recovered of 0.23285 carats. The diamonds are white, green, yellow, grey, and brown (AFRI 20000003899). In 2014, Dr. Shannon Zurevinski from Lakehead University visited the property and discovered a yellow diamond when she broke open a rock sample (AFRI 2.55821).
