Access Description: Access is via HWY 527 turning east onto the Magone forestry road 10 km north of the HWY17 junction. Proceed 11 km along main road and turn right onto a secondary road (before the 12 km sign) and trael 1 km to the top of a ridge that is in the centree of the claim.
1993: amethyst showing was discovered and staked by W. Richardson. 1994: Bill Richardson completed minor hand stripping and blasting on the south side of the forestry access road. 2011: Larry Kowtuski staked claim 4264663 over historical trenches and stripped the north side of the access to trace out the amethyst vein. 2016: L. Kowtuski transfers the claim to Jonathan Lee Koeppl. Quarry operated under the authority of MNR Aggregate Permit No. 624838, which allows for the extraction of up to 60 t/year from a quarry area of 1.15 ha.
