Mineralization Comments

Jun 07, 2011 (D Draper) - Log of Well No. 1 references 109ft of “Brown limestone and shale (showing oil)” at a depth of 467ft. At 214ft, an 18-foot unit of dolomitic limestone and a 25-foot unit of shale and dolomite are both noted as having associated “gas”, type unspecified. Selenite is noted throughout the hole, including an 18-foot zone of selenite and gypsum. Two other units of mottled gypsum--14ft and 20ft in thickness--were intersected. (T-427; AR 61-6, p. 154)
