Mineralization Comments

Aug 03, 2011 (A Wilson) - Assays from FNB009-004 returned: 2.19% Ni, 1.16% Cu, and 0.12% Co. Assays from FNB009-0007: 1090 ppb Pt, 1650 ppb Pd over 2 m. FNB013-007 126 ppb Pt, 2.18% Ni, 1.20% Cu, 0.11% Co over Up to 25% pyrrhotite was observed in all units in these drill holes. Low grade PGE values were found in 4 drill holes. A 5.05 m section of core from FNB009 returned 0.01% Ni, 0.03% Cu and 1.981% PGE and a 1.3 m section from the same drill hole returned 0.01% Ni, 0.01% Cu and 2.093% PGE. A 2.7 m section of FNB010 returned 0.01% Cu and 1.712% PGE over 2.7 m. A 1.3 m section of FNB011 returned 0.567% PGE and a second intersection of 0.8 m returned 1.196% PGE. A third interval in FNB011 returned 0.01% Cu and 0.013% PGE over 0.3 m. Drill hole FNB012 returned .03 m grading 0.01% Cu and 1.002% PGE, as well as a 7.4 m section of core that returned 0.01% Ni and 0.614% PGE. Drill hole FNB013 returned 0.614% PGE from 3.9 m of core. A 0.45 m section of the same drill hole returned 0.03% Ni, 0.33% Cu and 0.11% PGE. Drill hole FNB014 intersected 0.04% Ni, 0.03% Cu and 0.11% PGE over 0.8m. The elevated PGE values come from sections of core that have very low sulphide content. Diamond drilling discovered a pyrrhotite, pyrite and magnetite with trace chalcopyrite mineralized zone with both disseminated and brecciated sulphides in the mafic units and along contacts with metasediments. No significant nickel or copper values was found in the 123 core samples assayed. However a small zone of highly anomalous platinum and palladium of less than 6 m maximum thickness was outlined in <1% fine-grained disseminated sulphides.

Aug 23, 2012 (Scott Charbonneau) - Diamond-drill hole assays over 5.0m of 0.76 g/t Pt and 1.22 g/t Pd from First Nickel Inc. diamond drill hole FBN009
