Lithology Comments

Oct 11, 2011 (A Wilson) - Narrow (1.5 to 2.5 wide), vertical calcite veins are exposed for a distance of over 100 feet in a pit. The veins typically strike N50-60°E, but display some curving. The calcite veins are hosted within coarse-grained diabase. A north-northwest trending lineament pasts from nearby Devlin Lake, northwestward across the southern end of the trenches.
