Lithology Comments

Oct 12, 2011 (A Wilson) - The original Plotke property consisted of three veins. The No. 1 vein was 8 inches wide and was stripped over a length of 350 feet. The No. 2 vein was 4 to 10 inches wide and was stripped for over 250 feet. The No. 3 vein lies at the east end of the property. A northwest trending shear zone also was mapped in the vicinity of the property. Several aplite dikes also were exposed in the vicinity of the shaft.

Mineralization Comments

Oct 12, 2011 (A Wilson) - Samples from the No. 1 vein reportedly assayed 800-2600 oz/t Ag. W. McLaughlin from Marvel Mines Ltd. (1952) collected a small sample that assayed 6000 oz/t Ag. He also reported that 4 bags of high-grade ore were recovered from the waste dump of the No. 1 shaft in the early 1950's.
