Lithology Comments

Jun 25, 2012 (A Wilson) - The mineralization is associated with the south margin of a large syenite stock which intrudes a sequence of mafic metavolcanic rocks and pyroxenitic rocks. Gold mineralization occurs in multiple zones which trend northeast-southwest and dip moderately to the northwest. The 144 Syenite discovery is located proximal to the same sediment-ultramafic contact along which the Timmins West gold deposit and the high-grade Rusk Gold Zone, 1800 metres to the northwest are centred. Anomalous gold mineralization was also intersected in hole Hwy 08-03, collared 450 metres to the northwest of hole 08-05, again in association with a porphyritic syenite intrusion.

Mineralization Comments

Jun 25, 2012 (A Wilson) - Diamond drilling by West Timmins Mining Inc. intersected 1.11 g/t Au over 16.10 m, including 1.35 g/t Au over 0.5 g/t Au in drill hole Hwy 08-05. This discovery intersected gold at 28 m. Follow-up drilling returned assays of 0.63 g/t Au over 29 m; including 5.43 g/t Au over 1.5 m. Significant results from Lake Shore's diamond drilling include 2.41 g/t Au over 19 m, including 6.61 g/t Au over 2.20 m, 4.96 g/t Au over 5.4 m, including 15.18 g/t Au over 1.45 m and 14.42 g/t Au over 0.95 m in DDH 11-12. Additional assays include 4.03 g/t Au over 5.10 m, including 7.02 g/t Au over 2.4 m and 4.87 g/t Au over 1.5 m in HWY 11-11 and 1.16 g/t Au over 32.2 m, including 3.20 g/t Au over 6.20 m, 11.05 g/t Au over 0.5 m and 16.75 g/t au over 0.30 m in HWY 10-02. The strongest mineralization is closely associated with increased levels of alteration, quartz veining, coarse pyre as well as local galena and visible gold. The bulk of the mineralization is located at depths of less than 200m and follows a similar pattern to Thunder Creek.
