A fixed wing gradient airborn magnetic survey totalling 14,300 line kilometres was completed in 2005. During the period from July to August 2006, a total of 220 overburden samples were taken from the property and were submitted for heavy mineral analysis. 10 drill holes totalling 568 feet of AWT size core, were also completed, no samples from the core were taken and the core was dumped on site.

Dec 16, 2011 (A McKee) - A number of overburden samples with anomalous values and variety of KIMs were recovered. Samples showed a variety of eclogitic garnet, MG-ilmenites, chromites, Forsteritic olivine, Cr- diopside, and Cr-pyropes. The proximity would suggest a fairly large kimberlite body up-ice of these sample sites. According to assessment report: 'Before drilling any of these potential targets, KIM grain chemistry should be determined.'
