Access Description: Turn off highway 17 at Rutherglen and travel north. Take first left turn toward Blanchard's Landing. Travel by boat across river to point directly south of Shields Bay. Traverse past cottages 830m along ATV trail. Foot traverse south through bush to trenches.

Lithology Comments

Jul 25, 2012 (A Wilson) - A narrow band of brucite-bearing limestone about 10 chains long extends north-westward from the vicinity of the west boundary of the claims. Another brucite-bearing limestone body lies on the eastern boundary of the claim.

Mineralization Comments

Jul 25, 2012 (A Wilson) - The brucite is semi-translucent, white, cream, brown and grey granules from 1-4 mm in diameter, disseminated through a matrix of white dolomite and white calcite. Selected grab samples collected by the OGS yielded values ranging from 25-30% brucite.
