Geology Comments

Oct 28, 2013 (A Pace) - Coarse mafic metavolcanics of the Batchawana Greenstone Belt. The mafic volcanics are fractured consisiting of a quartz and feldspar mattrix. Many of the fractures contain minerlaization in the form of chalcopyrite, malachite and minor pyrite. At times the rock unit appears brecciated. Many of the fractures also display epidote and sulphide alteration.
