Lithology Comments

Nov 24, 2014 (A Pace) - The predominant rock type is basalt and it varies from very fine grained to medium/coarse grained. Amygdules are very common and can be filled with calcite, quartz, epidote, chlorite and occassionally potassic feldspar. The second most prevalent rock type is conglomerate. It is polymictic featuring clasts of pebbles to cobble size. The clasts are rounded to sub-rounded and of multiple origins, predominantly basalt and granitoid. Felsite is encountered in a few locations.

Mineralization Comments

Feb 11, 2015 (A Pace) - Mineralized zones encountered feature quartz/calcite filled fractures and faults. The mineralized vein breccia zones can be up to 8.5 metres in core length and feature quartz/calcite veins, fracture-fil and vein breccia. Mineralization consists in malachite, chalcocite and occasional native copper. Vugs and fractures are often lined with malachite and small patches can be found throughout the veining. Chalcocite is found as distinct specks and masses. 2005 Nikos Exploration drill results include Hole CP-05-02-2.73% Cu and 20.7 g/t Ag over 2.35 m, hole CP-05-03 11.96% Cu, 101 g/t Ag and 1.1 g/t Au over 1.2 m and hole CP-05-05 1.62% Cu over 17.6 m. 2011 diamond drill results conducted by Superior Copper Corp. include hole BCP-15-11 resulting in 1.67% Cu over 3.8 m, hole BCP-19-11 resulting in 1.60% Cu over 4.5 m and 17.6 g/t Ag, Hole BCP-17-11 resulting in 0.72% Cu over 7.2 m and 12.18 g/t Ag, hole BCP-19-11 resulting in 5.35% Cu over 6.6 m and 105.9 g/t Ag, hole BCP-21-11 resulting in 1.89% Cu and 31.6 g/t Ag over 7.2 m and 3.18% Cu and 70.5 g/t Ag over 3.2 m, hole BCP-24-11 resulting in 2.88% Cu and 8.68 g/t Ag over 1.9 m and 1.21% Cu and 3.29 g/t Ag over 2.1m. The 2013 diamond drill program completed on the SB Zone confirmed the continuity of the SB-Zone structure at depth and over a 500 metre strike length. Of the 10 drill holes completed on the SB Zone in the 2011 and 2013 drill programs, 7 drill holes returned significant assay results for copper and silver. The average metre-percent value for the ten SB Zone intersections was 8.90, equivalent to 2.97% Cu over 3.0 metres.
