Mineralization Comments

Oct 29, 2014 (Mark Puumala) - Mineralization at the L102N showing occurs in coarse grained to pegmatitic pods of biotite-rich, strongly magnetic melagabbro mineralized with minor disseminated fine-grained pyrite, pyrrhotite, chalcopyrite and pentlandite (McCrindle and Fingler 2001 AFRI52H12NW2003). Berland Resources Ltd. obtained grab sample assay values of 654ppb Pd, 187ppb Pt, 93ppb Au, 965 ppm copper and 448 ppm nickel from the L102N showing.

May 04, 2023 (Therese Pettigrew) - The L102N showing hosts sections of gabbro, varitextured gabbro, pyroxenite, and breccia zones of heterolithic compositions. PGE mineralization occurs in association with fine- to coarse-grained pyrrhotite-chalcopyrite-pyrite blebs in 0.1-3.0% total volume (Assessment report 20000019980).
