1982: Intercontinental Energy Corp. conducted preliminary geological mapping. 1984-85: Noranda Exploration Company Ltd. drilled 2 DDH totaling 559 m. 1989: Bond Gold Canada Inc. drilled 6 DDH totaling 1000 m. 1991: Newmont Exploration of Canada Ltd. conducted geological mapping and sampling and drilled 10 DDH totaling 1319 m. 1997: Hemlo Gold Mines Inc. conducted an IP survey. 2009: Beaufield Resources Inc. flew airborne electromagnetic and magnetometer surveys. 2010: Beaufield Resources conducted an IP and MT survey. Caracle Creek International Consulting Inc. was contracted to produce a 3D model of the property.

Jan 13, 2016 (Therese Pettigrew) - 1-2% disseminated to stringered pyrite and molybdenum. No assays (M2614). DDH HY89-03 from 106.63-116.34 m: dark grey, fine-grained laminated sediments with up to 10% sulphides occurring as grains, stringers, and flecks. Distinct bluish hue from molybdenum to about 40% of the core, with discrete laminations or bands ranging from 1-4 mm to 2-3 cm wide. 128.75-129.8 m: laminated sediments with bluish hue from molybdenum. Strongest moly alteration from 128.75-129.2 m, with <1% pyrite and pyrrhotite (AFRI 42D09NE0100).
