Mineralization Comments

Mar 27, 2019 (Therese Pettigrew) - Sheared, pyrrhotite-rich felsic tuff to lapilli tuff; up to 238 ppm Mo, 4.9 ppm Ag over 1.96 m (Muir, 2000). Narrow graphitic sections were encountered in diamond drill holes 83B-2, 8, and 9. These sections included graphitic felsic tuff, graphitic chert, graphite, and graphite-calcite-pyrite breccia. Pyrrhotite abundance ranges between 5 and 40% with lesser amounts of pyrite. Traces of chalcopyrite and sphalerite are present. A number of these graphitic beds have associated pyrrhotitic felsic tuff beds which may contain traces of sphalerite and elevated levels of Mo. A soil sample collected by Noranda in 1984 located at approximately NAD83 UTM Zone 16, 582010 m E, 5407374 m N returned a value of 130 ppb Au (Assessment report 42C13SW0132).
