Lithology Comments

Apr 22, 2016 (A Wilson) - The Quaternary stratigraphy is glaciolacustrine clay, silt and sand, deposited in proglacial lakes Barlow and Ojibway, overlying gravelly sand and gritty silty sand (till ?) on bedrock. Sediments immediately above bedrock were deposited in close proximity to the ice margin. All sediments at this hole are part of the Matheson glacial package. Ice associated with this package advanced toward 170º azimuth.

Mineralization Comments

Apr 22, 2016 (A Wilson) - Sample 4901 from drill hole 87-47 assayed 1400 ppb Au reflecting the recovery of 12 abraded gold grains from the heavy mineral concentrate. A total of 8 gold grains were recovered from sample 4701 in drill hole 87-47. The grains ranged from 25 microns to 500 x 500 microns. All grains were listed as being abraded. A total of 36 gold grains were recovered from samples from drill hole 87-48. The grains ranged from 25 x 25 microns to 125 x 225 microns. Most grains were described as abraded to delicate. A total of 17 gold grains were recovered from samples from drill hole 87-49. The grains ranged from 25 x 25 microns to 175 x 200 microns. All grains were described as abraded.
