Access Description: Access to occurrence is via Cameron Lake Road (an all-weather, gravel road) that departs east from Highway 71 about 30 km north of the town of Nestor Falls. The Occurence is 7.1 km past the Cameron Lake Mine to the west of the road.
2015: Chalice Gold Mines Ltd. conducted trenching, geological mapping, and sampling.

Sep 26, 2017 (C Ravnaas) - Grab sample 1384395, located 350 m to the NW at UTM 452332 E, 5457319 m N, zone 15, assayed 5.59 ppm Au and is described as mafic lapilli tuff (?) with dacitic fragments, hornfelds, strong silicifcation and cut by a weak breccia of qtz veins with minor pyrite (0.5%) in and haloing the veins (AFRI 2.56722)
Sep 26, 2017 (Therese Pettigrew) - The Nolan West Trench is located on the western edge of the Nolan Lake Stock, southeast of the Monte Cristo Shear Zone and northeast of the Pipestone-Cameron Fault (PCF). This target was chosen based on anomalous grab samples and MMI anomalies at the contact between the Nolan Lake Stock and surrounding mafic volcanics. The trench was initially completed on the eastern side of Cameron Lake road, and after values of 0.434 g/t over 1 m and 0.103 g/t gold over 1 m were returned, the trench was extended on the western side of the road. Two secondary trenches revealed extensive quartz veining and shearing, with associated hematite and iron carbonate alteration. Results include 47 samples with values between 0.010 to 0.338 g/t gold over 1 m, and one sample with 5.0 g/t gold over 1 m (AFRI 2.56730).
