Sep 27, 2016 (Andrew Tims) - The mafic units underlaying this showing were interpreted as mafic intrusives (gabbro) that underwent an extensive and intense hydrothermal alteration. This alteration is ubiquitous in Mathe Lake area. The alterations show extensive patchy potassium, hematite and epidote alteration but only weak deformation.
