Geology Comments

Sep 30, 2016 (Andrew Tims) - Composed of sheared, intensely altered and consists mostly in an alternating pyroclastic sequence comprising fine to medium sized intermediate to mafic tuffs which are locally strongly pyritized. In smaller amounts, there are varved sediments and a few quartz porphyry and lamprophyre dykes which intersect the sediments and the pyroclastic rocks.
