Point Location Description: Occ is a drill intercept only. Point is for DDH CP11-06. CP11-04 is 203 m to the southwest.
Location Method: Based on Assessment
Access Description: Access to the Property is by a series of logging roads from Highway 11, located 15-20 km west of the village of Kashabowie. Drill hole is about 30 km south-southwest from Highway 11 along the following logging roads: south on Swamp Road to Tilly Road to Nelson to the east side of the property. The drill setup is approximately 560 m west of the clearcut as od June 2010.
1964: Mining Corporation of Canada completed a diamond drilling program in the Powell Lake claim area. 1973: William Morehouse conducted a surface-trenching program. 1984: Wawiag Resources completed geophysics surveys (VLF and Magnetometer) and some basic grab sampling over 25 line km of cut grid in the southwestern portion of the Powell claims. 1985: Wawiag Resources trenched three showings and returned numerous gold results >1 g/T from pyrite-bearing felsic intrusives and associated quartz veins. 1985: Prospecting and geological mapping was conducted by Cumberland Resources on part of the Clay claims north and east of Powell Lake.. 1988: An airborne geophysics program was completed by Ahern in the Moss Township region. 1988: Geophysical surveys (Magnetometer, VLF-EM, and IP) were completed by Great Fortress Resources Inc. along with 8 diamond drill holes totalling 1161 m in the east central portion of the Powell claims. 1988-89: Soil Geochemistry and Magnetometer program was completed by Mingold Resources along a cut grid in the southeast part of the Powell and northeast part of the Clay claims. 1989: Mingold Resources completed 12 diamond drill holes totalling 1361 m following up on soil, rock and geophysical anomalies. 1990: Prospecting and mapping was carried out by Noranda on ground now partially covered by the northwestern corner of the Clay claims. 1992: Stripping and sampling was conducted by Cyprien Poirier in the southwestern portion of the Powell claims; possibly the same area explored by Wawiag Resources in 1984 and 1985. Gold and copper results up to 4564 ppb gold and 2700 ppm copper were reported for an area underlain by diorite and felsic volcanics. 1996: 2 days of prospecting was conducted by Ken Kukkee followed by the excavation of two trenches; 1997: Following up on the 1996 results, further prospecting was conducted by Ken Kukkee, including overburden removal by backhoe,. 1998: Following up on his 1997 results, Ken Kukkee completed an OPAP funded program of prospecting, diamond drilling and geophysical survey over Site 42 and Halfway zone. The diamond drill program had consisted of 3 diamond drill holes totalling 76 m in length. Several intervals of anomalous gold values were intercepted including 1.08 g/T over 3.5 m in hole K98-1 and 1.16 g/T over 3.0 m in hole K98-2 from the Site 42 gold showing. The geophysics program consisted of a 4 km magnetometer survey over a cut grid. Ken also conducted prospecting, soil sampling and a magnetometer surveys. 1999: Continued work on the main gold showings by Ken Kukkee included overburden removal and sampling. 2004: A helicopter-borne time domain electromagnetic and magnetic geophysical survey was undertaken by East West Resources and Maple Minerals on their Tilley Lake-Hamlin-Powell Property. This airborne survey covered northern part of the Clay claims and all the Powell claims. 2005 – A prospecting, line cutting, mapping, and geophysics program was conducted by East West Resources and Maple Minerals over the Powell claims. Geophysical surveys consisted of induced polarization and ground magnetometer, and were conducted over an area previously trenched and mapped. During this same period East West Resources and Mega Uranium started a multi-stage drill program. A total of 1486.3 m was drilled in 9 drill holes. 2006 – Continuation of the 2005 drilling program conducted by East West Resources and Mega Uranium Ltd. The drilling program completed 936 m of drilling in 6 drill holes.

Oct 04, 2016 (Andrew Tims) - High gold results in holes CP-11-04 (2.91 g/T over 1.55 m from 99.50 m depth) and CP-11-06 (8.45 g/T over 1.90 m from 222.75 m) are related to narrow zones of silica-carbonate alteration (CP-11-06) or quartz veining (CP-11-04) mineralized with pyrite and chalcopyrite. Both of these intervals occur about 2 m below feldspar porphyry dykes.
