Exploration History

1955: Conwest staked or optioned the claims covering the showings after E.W. Hadley made a discovery of spodumene on Island showing. Conwest mapped the pegmatite outcrops and drilled 31 holes totalling 3284 m on the Jackpot showing, 8 holes totaling 153.5 m on the Salo Showing and 2 holes totaling 182.8 m on Southwest showing. 1956: Conwest sold the property to Ontario Lithium. 1957: Ontario Lithium drilled 8 holes totaling 159.9 m on the Salo Showing. 1960: Ontario Lithium brought the claims around the Jackpot Showing to lease. 2002: Leased claims over the Jackpot Showing lapse. 2009: Three claims are staked by Steve and Jim Forbes plus John Rapski covering the historical Jackpot showing. 2011: Caracle Creek International Consulting completed a prospecting assessment report for claimholders Pierre Robert and Wade Kornick. Kornick also partnered in on a larger TerraQuest airborne Magnetic/VLF survey of the immediate area of the showings. 2015: Everton Resources optioned the Kornick claims. 2016: Wade Kornik completed a program of prospecting and sampling, identifying this showing. 2022: Imagine Lithium carried out sampling and channel sampling.

Geology Comments

Jan 05, 2017 (Andrew Tims) - The Blue Sky Southwest area is part of a two-kilometer trend about 300 meters wide consisting of several distinct outcrop areas of spodumene bearing pegmatite. Multiple sub parallel spodumene bearing pegmatite dykes are present associated with a generally northeast – southwesterly trending structural corridor.
