Mineralization Comments

Oct 11, 2017 (Therese Pettigrew) - T13 is located approximately 300 m northeast of the Pipestone-Cameron Fault (PCF). This target is on the north limb of the Shingwak Lake anticline, and is dominated by mafic volcanic and intermediate tuff units. T13 was designed to test an MMI anomaly coincident with what appears to be a parallel deformation zone just north of the PCF. It consists of two trenches, whose combined total is 247 m long and oriented between 210 and 225 degrees. The initial trench revealed dominantly mafic volcanics, and ended in a highly altered and deformed tuff. One value of 0.152 g/t gold over 1 m was returned associated with a minor quartz vein with pyrite. The trench was subsequently lengthened and widened over the altered tuff, and a large quartz boudin was sampled which returned 1.675 g/t gold over 0.6 m (AFRI 2.56730).
