Mineralization Comments

09/25/2018 (T Pettigrew) - Gold is hosted in the contact between the metasediments and feldspar porphyry. DDH 92-2 assayed up to 6784 ppm Cu, 1415 ppb Au, and 2390 ppm Mo (AFRI 20000005149). Prospector R. Koivisto collected a sample that assayed 0.5 gpt Au and 6% Cu (AFRI 52B07NW2003). DDH 94-1 had assays of up to 0.8166 opt Ag over 0.3 m, 4675 ppm Cu over 0.7 m, 9112 ppm Cu over 0.4 m, 8399 ppm Cu over 0.82 m, and 1070 ppm Mo over 0.4 m (AFRI 52B10SW0023). Grab samples collected by prospectors E. Kukkee and R. Kwiatkowski in 1991 returned assays up to 0.893 opt Au and 14.4% Cu (AFRI 42L12SW8020). Trench #3 from 1995 had two samples that assayed 0.6 gpt Au, 0.44% Mo, and 1.85% Cu, and 0.24 gpt Au, 0.14% Mo, and 2.42% Cu (AFRI 52B10SW0027).
