Exploration History

1987: Lac Minerals Ltd. drilled 2 DDH totaling 576.6 m. 1995: Placer Dome drilled 1 DDH totaling 443 m. 1999: Teck Exploration Ltd. carried out prospecting, mapping, sampling, and soil sampling. 2003: Teck Cominco Ltd. Exploration conducted resistivity and IP ground surveys.

Mineralization Comments

Mar 13, 2019 (Therese Pettigrew) - Muir (2000) describes the showing as sillimanite-garnet-bearing arenite with amphibole-sillimanite-feldspar-quartz stockwork zones. The showing contains 1-3% disseminated pyrite, pyrrhotite, and sphalerite that assayed up to 0.422% Zn over 0.40 m.
