Access Description: Access is by float/ski plane and by seasonal winter road.
2000: Emerald Fields Resources Corp. conducted prospecting and mapping. 2018: Frontier Lithium Inc. discovered the showing while prospecting and carried out geological mapping, stripping, and channel sampling. 2019: Frontier Lithium drilled 9 DDH totalling 2499.5 m. 2022: Frontier Lithium Inc. carried out diamond drilling to infill and upgrade the mineral resource and completed geotechnical drilling, all to support a future pre-feasibility study. A total of 15 983.6 m was drilled from 50 drill holes. 2023: Frontier Lithium Inc. released an updated mineral resource estimate for the Spark deposit on February 23, 2023.

Mar 14, 2019 (Therese Pettigrew) - Channels 33 to 35 represent a continuous transect of 64 m averaging 2.05% Li2O. Channel 37 to 38 is 94.5 m averaging 1.85% Li2O with elevated Ta2O5 up to 615 ppm and 2.9% Li2O over 6.2 m from 63.2-69.4 m. Channel 36 averaged 2.02% Li2O over 35 m. Channels 39 and 40 average 1.88% Li2O over 26.9 m and 1.54% Li2O over 16 m, respectively (Frontier Lithium Jan 17, 2019 press release). DDH PL-065-22 intersected a total of 171.5m of pegmatite averaging 1.57% Li2O and thin sheets of mafic rafts within the pegmatite. DDH PL-067-22 intersected 326.6.m of pegmatite averaging 1.92% Li2O. DDH PL-069-22 intersected 275.3m of pegmatite averaging 1.74% Li2O. DDH PL-072-22 intersected 124.1m of pegmatite averaging 1.55% Li2O (Frontier Lithium Oct 11, 2022 news release).
