Mar 27, 2019 (Therese Pettigrew) - Muir (2000) reports that the showing returned 0.118 to 0.75% Zn from a garnetiferous amphibolite. At Turner South (location NAD83 UTM Zone 16 583307 m E, 5411682 m N), samples returned up to 0.43% Zn, 32.99 ppm Ag, and 1.12 ppm Au. DDH T3/93, located 750 m to the south at NAD83 UTM Zone 16 583317 m E, 5410937 m N, contained up to 10% pyrite stringers and assayed up to 0.29% Zn and 0.12% Cu over 1.22 m in a rusty mafic metavolcanic. Prospecting samples collected in 1991 returned assays up to 0.24 oz/t (8.23 g/t Au), and 0.41 and 0.69% Zn (Assessment report 42C13SW0040).
