Exploration and Mining History

1979: St. Joseph Explorations Ltd. drilled 1 DDH totaling 84.43 m. 1984: OGS staff discovered and sampled the showing during a mapping program. 1985: Moss Resources carried out mapping, sampling, VLF-EM and magnetic surveys. 1988: Power Explorations drilled 3 DDH totaling 498.65 m.

Mineralization Comments

08/19/2019 (T Pettigrew) - OGS staff members collected samples from quartz-sulphide veins found in a chlorite-actinolite schist. Sample 95 returned 1.59% Cu. Sample 96 returned 1.72% Cu (Bartlett et al., 1985). No significant Cu or Au values were returned from the 1979 St. Joseph Explorations drill hole (Assessment report 53B14SE0010).
