Access Description: It is an active quarry located at 4999 County Rd 46, Havelock, ON K0L 1Z0.
1956: H F Taylor drilling; 1969-1975: White Brown Regan & Tripp: drillings; 1982-1983: Canadian Nickel Company Limited/Inco Limited Field Exploration. Work on property includes geophysical surveys, open cuts and extensive diamond drilling and assays; 1986-2017: Trigan Resources Inc. Drilling, assaying analysis, geological surveys metallurgical testing, beneficiation and environmental studies; Since 2004, quarrying operations have been undertaken to exploit the gabbro surrounding the ilmenite for high quality aggregate.

Sep 30, 2020 (Nazha Sabiri) - A sample of massive ilmenite collected by staff of the Tweed Resident Geologist Office in 2011contains 48.68% Fe2O3, 31.28% TiO2 and 0.363% V2O5. LeBaron, P. RFE 2015.
