Access Description: The property is approximately 9 km north of the village of Kakabeka Falls. Direct access to the property is via Mokomon Road.

Exploration and Mining History

1956: New Fortune Mines Ltd. conducted an airborne magnetometer survey. 1961: Hanna Mining Company optioned the property. 1962: Hanna Mining Company conducted magnetometer and geological surveys. 1993: K. Kukee discovered the showing while prospecting and conducted trenching and sampling. 2011: Atlas Mining Ltd. conducted a helicopter-born high resolution magnetic and VLF-EM survey, prospecting and sampling. 2012: Atlas Mining carried out trenching and sampling.

Mineralization Comments

09/11/2019 (T Pettigrew) - The highest assay was 0.19 opt Au (5.91 g/t Au) from a gossanous quartz vein in a gabbro. The vein contained visible gold. Sample 108MSW from an altered gabbro returned 5 ppb Au and 54 ppm Zn (Assessment file 52A05NE8200).
