09/30/2019 (T Pettigrew) - In 2008, Sample 15407 assayed 2.1 g/t Au over 0.5 m from a channel sample in a moderately altered basalt alternating with layers of magnetite BIF. Sample 15435 assayed 1.7 g/t Au over 0.5 m from a channel sample that consisted of moderately chloritized basalt alternating with layers of magnetite BIF and cut by quartz ± carbonate QC veinlets occurring generally along the shear. The veinlets were bordered by large euhedral pyrite crystals (overall 2% with up to 10% locally). The adjoining sample (sample 15436) tested similar BIF and returned 0.91 gpt Au. Combined, this one metre section of BIF assayed 1.34 gpt Au (Assessment report 20000008634).
