Location Method: data compilation

Access Description: Road access is north off the TCH #17 onto Road #5 north, across the railway tracks to the gravel road on the left; follow the signs for Blue Points Amethyst Mine. Although not open to the public, the mine can be visited by invitation only.

Exploration and Mining History

2011-12: P. and T. Smitham staked the property and began stripping and trenching. 2013: P. and T. Smitham carried out stripping. The mine operates under MNR quarry permit number 626091 which allows for a maximum extraction of 500 tons/year.
