Point Location Description: Bush road north of elbow on the Opasatika River
Location Method: Field Visit with GPS
Access Description: Hwy 11 to past Opasatica; Turning right onto McCowan Road. Follow bush road to area, approximately 90 km. Helicopter recommended for winter access.
A field visit by RGP staff to the location was done in November 2019. Measurements were taken with a scintillometer and a sample of overburden was taken a few feet below the surface with a hand auger.

Jul 28, 2020 (P Bousquet) - The sediments are over a flat area directly north of an elbow on the Opasatika River. It was hypothesized initially that a clay deposit sat at that location, which had a radiometric anomaly attached to it.
